Samples were trimmed, converted and remapped for the studio; the recordings remain their authors' work.
Convolution impulses
The Convolver's starter impulses (rooms, plates, springs, cabinets and small speakers) are from the IR-Library by Conner, with the Atrium recording contributed by Liam G, under the MIT licence. The full licence text travels with the impulses in the studio.
Headphone measurements
The Listening Room uses the KEMAR head-related impulse responses measured by Bill Gardner and Keith Martin, MIT Media Laboratory, 1994, copyright 1994 MIT Media Laboratory. The authors permit free use, including commercial use, provided they are cited. Room simulation and resampling are Dr. Tape processing.
FLAC decoding
FLAC files are decoded by a separate, replaceable module built from @wasm-audio-decoders/flac (MIT, copyright 2021–2025 Ethan Halsall) and codec-parser (LGPL-3.0-or-later). The combined decoder is distributed under those terms; its corresponding source and rebuild instructions are available from the studio's About dialog.
Fonts
Karla (copyright 2019 The Karla Project Authors), Fira Mono and Outfit (copyright 2021 The Outfit Project Authors) are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 and served from this site, with no requests to third-party font services.

The studio is built with React and runs on Cloudflare. This website is built with Astro and searched with Pagefind; its icons are Lucide (ISC). These and the other open-source packages are used under their MIT, ISC or compatible licences.
